Onboarding process
NomuPay undertakes risk and compliance checks before a customer can begin utilising the uP Platform. This onboarding process, which involves the secure collection and review of business details and documentation via our uP Platform Onboarding Management System (uP POM), differs depending on whether you are onboarding to the uP Platform as a technically integrated reseller client, an enterprise or marketplace, or as a merchant of a reseller client.
Reseller client onboarding
Reseller client uP POM onboarding is handled via a dedicated NomuPay representative. This representative will work with you directly to securely collect and process the necessary documentation and business details needed to get your organisation approved as a reseller client. Enterprise or marketplace onboarding
Enterprise and marketplace customer onboarding is also handled via a dedicated NomuPay representative. This representative will provide you with NomuPay's KYC, risk and underwriting requirements directly and ensure that all your necessary documents are securely input in uP POM. An onboarding specialist will be assigned to assist all enterprise and marketplace customer types during the onboarding phase.

Merchant of a reseller client onboarding
One of the benefits of becoming an uP Payments reseller client is the ability to quickly connect your existing merchant base with NomuPay's acquiring capabilities. To help expedite that process, NomuPay offers a merchant onboarding API to seamlessly and securely submit merchant documentation into uP POM. We encourage reseller clients to view our detailed merchant onboarding API documentation to learn more about this useful tool. An onboarding specialist will be assigned to assist all reseller clients with merchant onboarding.
