Components

The following components provide the foundation for sending mass payments with your uP Payouts solution.

🗃️ uP IDs

All Enterprises and Marketplaces on the uP Platform are provided an uP Account ID as part of the onboarding process.

🗃️ Transfer types and methods

The uP Payments solution offers a wide variety of local payment methods. These methods are categorised by Payment Type.

📄️ Funding

The uP Payouts solution is built on a Good Funds Model. Funds will be deposited into a dedicated For Benefit Of (or FBO) Funding Account.

🗃️ Reports

All Enterprises and will be granted access to standard reports as part of their uP Payouts solution.

🗃️ SFTP

SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) is used for the delivery of reports on the uP Payouts solution.

📄️ Virtual accounts

Virtual accounts can help automate reconciliation and funding for your disbursements, and/or provide your recipients with the ability to receive money in a range of local currencies, without the need to have a jurisdictional presence in the country.
