Solution architecture
The uP Path solution enables Payments Partner Systems to manage the incoming and outgoing payments of their merchants via one single platform.
uP Path will offer the Payments Partner System the ability to:

Let their merchants process e-commerce and/or in-Store payments using multiple payment methods on various markets,

Manage the funds acquired during payment acceptance on behalf of their merchants, but without being in the flow of funds,

Payout the acquired funds to the merchants associated bank account.
For the Payments Partner System to manage the merchant balances the following account structure will be established:

Each Payment Partner merchant will be onboarded on NomuPay platform.

NomuPay will provide the Payments Partner System with merchant's unique identifier.

The net amount from the payment from payment acceptance transactions will be automatically credited to the corresponding merchant's Unified Balances..

The Payments Partner System will register the merchant's bank account where payouts will need to be made.

The Payments Partner System will then initiate payouts to the merchants bank account using NomuPay's API.
Note: In case of returns, the failed transaction amounts will be returned to the account that it was initially debited.
