Online banking

The online banking payment method enables consumer to make purchase with the funds that are available in their bank account, often in real-time or near real-time. Online banking payment methods often involve scanning a Quick Response (QR) code at checkout to initiate the payment.

The uP Payments solution supports the following online banking payment methods:

DuitNow Online

DuitNow Online makes it easy for consumers to pay for transactions online directly from their bank account with a simple redirection to an online banking or e-wallet application. DuitNow Online is linked to 40+ participating banks and e-wallet providers. DuitNow Online also allows payments to be collect from a consumer's Current Account Savings Account (CASA) or a linked credit card, line of credit and e-wallet.

Financial Processing Exchange (FPX)

Financial Processing Exchange (FPX) is a Malaysia-based payment method that enables consumers to complete purchases using their bank credentials. FPX provides real-time debiting of a customer's linked bank account; an FPX user can link multiple accounts from multiple banks to their FPX profile.

PromptPay QR

PromptPay QR is a popular payment method in Thailand that allows consumers to make a payment in-store or online using their preferred app from a participating bank. Consumer simply scan the PromptPay QR code with their preferred banking app when checking out to process the payment.
