iDEAL is an online payment method that allows consumers to pay via their own bank. Not only web shops but also other companies offer iDEAL. iDEAL is a direct online transfer from customer bank account to a merchant's bank account.

When a consumer shops online using the iDEAL payment method, the merchant sends a payment to the PSP.

The merchant redirects to the iDEAL page and allows the customer to select his bank and complete the purchase.
